Khawar was born on 15 October 1991, in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, into a Pashtun family. She has two brothers and a sister. Her father is a government employee and her mother is a housewife. Khawar did her schooling from Army Public School, Mardan and later attended Edwardes College, Peshawar from where she graduated with a degree in Fine Arts.
Khawar started her career as a model in 2015. She has walked the ramp for many designers including HSY, Deepak Perwani, Nomi Ansari and Sania Maskatiya. She has also done commercials for various brands such as Pantene, Coca-Cola and Warid Telecom.
