All Records Of Street Crime Were Broken In Karachi This Year

All records of street crime have been broken in Shar-e-Quaid this year.

CPLC sources said that the number of street crimes reported daily in Karachi has risen to 235. During the first five months of this year, more than 35,500 incidents of snatching and theft have been reported, According to the report, from January to May, citizens lost 22,666 motorcycles, while 11,890 mobile phones were snatched.

The CPLC says that 71 vehicles were snatched from the citizens this year while 914 were stolen.

Sources said that the incidents of mobile and motorcycle thefts have increased to a record level during the last month of May. In May, 2,658 cases of snatching mobile phones were reported while 4,454 motorcycles of citizens were stolen.
