Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has rejected the budget for the financial year 2022-23 presented by the coalition government.
In a statement, Imran Khan said, “We reject this anti-people & anti-business budget presented by the government.” The budget is based on unrealistic assumptions about 11.5 percent inflation and 5 percent economic growth. Today’s Social Progress Index (SPI) shows that the inflation rate will be between 25% and 30% which will destroy the common man on the one hand and economic growth on the other hand due to high interest rates.
He said that all progressive tax reforms and programs for the benefit of the poor such as health card and successful Pakistan have been stopped by his government. This is an incredibly old Pakistan budget which will create more burden & misery for the nation.
We reject this anti people & anti business budget presented by Imported govt. Budget is based on unrealistic assumptions on inflation(11.5%) & economic growth(5%). Today's SPI of 24% indicates that inflation will be between 25/30% which on the one hand will destroy the common man
